star plots

The star plot is a graphical technique for displaying and analyzing the behavior of multivariate data for a single observation. Our star plot is in the shape of an actual star, it was created by Herman Berguas in 1879. It is actually a special case of Petermann's projection with five lobes , all parallels are concentric , equally spaced arcs of circle and meridans are straight lines , all but five are broken.
