Doppler Radar

This is a Doppler Radar Map measuring the range and intensity of hurricane Francis movement through Florida in 2004 . Doppler Radar uses antena to measure the time and arrival of reflected pulses from distant the objeccts. The measurement called DB2 (Decibals of 2). The scale of DB2 values can be seen at the side of this image and are reflected on the map with the most intense areas of the storm shown in orange and red hues.
