Bivarate Chloropleth maps

This map graphically illustrates the relationship between different variables , in this case pupil expendenture of public education in north Carolina.

nominal area chlorpleth maps

This image is nominal chloropleth map showing the maximum fertility rate in Bulgaria and Albnia. This type of map of map uses nominal data which is categorical and classifiable into groups , but does not have specific arrangement.

parallel coordinate graph

A paralell coordinate is a visual and geometric tool that examines data from two or more variable simultaneously . This type of map is great for comparing and contrasting multiviarate data.

unclassified chlorpleth maps

The image is a unclassified chloropleth map of the birth rate of children t0 women in some europeon nations. In unclassified chloropleth maps shading and tinting of a continous color is used to designate a numerical value. In this particular map a contnous orange scale is used to denote the maximum and minimum fertility rate of children in Europe.

standarized chlorpleth map

The image is a standardized chloropleth map of Canada that shows the amount of children 14 years or younger. In this type of map , the data is divided typically in terms of the area or a related area variable to allow comparison of the phenemom . This image uses the shade and lightness of a green hue in direct relationship to a numeric value to graphically illustrate the data.

Windrose map

Windrose is a map diagram that is used to determine the air pressure velocity distribution for specific area. It is commonly used by meterologists to show wind frequency and strength. This windrose is color coded banded that are divided into increments to show wind speed ranges and seven cirecular lines that represent different frequencies.
